Audio Interconnects
A significant upgrade to any system, our interconnects exhibit clarity
and purity of sound enabling true three dimensionality displaying a
remarkable sense of height and depth whilst full-band sonic performance
shows remarkably satisfying cohesion and exceptional musicality. All
cables are terminated as standard with gold plated RCA plugs. Custom
lengths are available on all of our cables to perfectly suite your requirements.
Interconnects explained
All of our interconnects use laboratory-specification copper Hybrid
Core Technology (HCT) ultra-high-purity cores which are encased in our
proprietary inert resin coating (IRC) to avoid highly performance-degrading
chemical interference caused by the use of conventional dielectrics
as seen on alternative cables. IRC also prevents the oxidisation of
the copper cores enabling electrical conductivity to be unhindered and
thus provide maximum performance at all times. Varying dielectrics are
then employed to ensure the conductors remain parallel and electrical
characteristics remain constant. High-quality gold-plated phono or xlr
plugs ensure an excellent connection for all interconnects.
Nearly all of our interconnects also use our proprietary NAS (noise
absorbing system) technology well-documented as a success in its application
in Merlin Mains Cables. Merlin’s proprietary non-intrusive Noise
Absorption Technology (NAS) system vastly minimises the effects of both
transmitted and radiated radio-frequency and electro-magnetic interference.
The deployment of NAS technology is especially critical to minimise
and absorb the performance-degrading effects of unwanted harmonics and
in phase high-frequency currents which induce a detrimental net magnetic
field around the cable.

and solid core cables without the inherent drawbacks. This new improved
version also add's a twin very high quality thick Copper Foil Screening
along with a Mechanical Damping Braid which combined makes for a far
quieter cable. The construction has also changed to make a more robust
cable with a more consistant production and peformance. The new precision
placement of the conductors in a RF Rejecting design also improves the
sonic attributes even further. Available in any length to order but
standard length is 0.75m.
