Trade in to Upgrade

Now that we have been selling direct from the factory for over a year we have decided to further extend our services and to offer a new trade in/part exchange scheme.

If you wish to upgrade one of your existing Merlin Cables Products to a higher specification model and you purchased your product directly from us you can now return your old product in part exchange for your new one.

Trade in Terms & Conditions

The value of your part exchange is related to the age of your purchase:

• Up to 6 Months - 100% Credit of what you paid against your upgrade.


• Up to 12 Months - 70% Credit of what you paid against your upgrade.


• Up to 24 Months - 40% Credit of what you paid against your upgrade.


• Over 24 Months - 20% Credit of what you paid against your upgrade.

The validity of your product however is effected by the condition. If your product has been kept in near new condition as most are; it will qualify for the part exchange program.

If however your product is phisically damaged in any way or has been altered to anything other than factory specification it will not qualify for the part exchange program.

If a product is not returned in the condition specified the credit for the product will not be issued and the invalid product will be returned the customer.

If you are unsure whether your product qualifies then you can submit the item for assesment prior to the credit price being agreed.

You will need a full receipt from Merlin Cables as proof of purchase when submitting any product.

Only one product can be returned in part exchange at a time.

Part Exchange can only be offered for customers wishing to upgrade their product to a higher specification model of the same category.
